This hardwood comes in a range of colours from reddish-brown to a rich orange-red, and sometimes have a deep mahogany-esque colour when exposed to ultraviolet light. This wood originates from the Eastern states of the USA ranging from Maine down to Georgia. This versatile wood can be used for a range of projects including High-End Applications, Joinery, Musical Instruments, Mouldings, Furniture, Cabinet Making, Boat Interiors and Panelling. American Cherry responds well to being worked with. Both machine and hand techniques turn well and takes polish, paint and nails easily.
